Late & Absent


If your child will be absent or late for school, please either call the attendance line or email the school.

Please provide the following information:

  • Caregiver name
  • A call back phone number
  • Your child's first and last name(s)
  • Your child's homeroom class

If you wish to pick your student up during the school day, please contact the school in advance when possible.


Extended Absences


Extended absences from school require a form to be filled in.  If your child will be absent for an extended period of time, please call the school at 403-777-8890.

Regular and punctual attendance is foundational to student learning, academic achievement and long-term success. The CBE Administrative Regulation 6020 - Attendance of Students​ applies to all students, and outlines the responsibilities for students, parents and school staff.
