Learning Commons at the CBE

Today’s learners cannot imagine life without the internet and supporting technology. The concept of the traditional library is changing to include technology, online tools and spaces for collaboration and exploration.

The Learning Commons at Terry Fox School

The Learning Commons space at Terry Fox School is a bright, open space that houses our local library collection and supports multiple teaching, collaboration, and working spaces.

Borrowing Guidelines

Students are encouraged to take advantage of our robust library collection. Materials are checked-out for a two week period. Need more time? Come to the library to have your item renewed.

While checked-out, materials are the responsibility of the student. Lost items, or those returned damaged, may be charged to the student's account.

eLibrary

The eLibrary is an online catalogue of the titles in our collection and throughout the CBE. Loans of materials from other schools may be facilitated by our Library Assistant.

Reads for the Future

Reads For The Future LogoWe are incredibly proud to announce that Terry Fox School was selected as a recipient of a Reads for the Future grant sponsored by First Book Canada and BMO.

This grant will fund new additions to our library shelves - watch for these new titles coming soon!
